Organising Your Connected Emails

Learn how to send your day-to-day emails from Campus.

You can send your day-to-day emails from within your account and have each email logged against your contacts, organisations and deals. This means you'll be able to build up a picture of the communication you have with your prospects.

To set this up, go to your Settings module (by clicking on the Settings item in the dropdown menu underneath the user picture top right of your screen). Then select the Communication item in the submenu and then the Connected Emails item in the dropdown. You'll then be taken to the Connected Emails page.

Click the Connect Email button and the Connect an Email form will appear for you to fill out.

In the first field, choose the user for whom you are setting up the connected email for.

You then need to select the Email Provider - if you're using a Microsoft email client, choose Microsoft, and if you're using a Gmail account, choose Google. Or, alternatively, choose SMTP to create an SMTP connection.

The next steps will depend on which Email Provider you have selected;

SMTP

Campus will populate the Email Address field and the From Name from the chosen user above. These two fields are important as they show up in any emails you send.

Further down the form you need to provide Campus with your SMTP login details.

When you click
Save, Campus will do a quick check to make sure the details you entered are correct and actually work. If they don't it will prompt you to try again or, if it's happy that they work fine, you're all done.
